Spend crisp autumn mornings exploring the hills, discover Edinburgh’s historic streets by day, then retreat to the peace of the countryside as the evenings draw in. Here are some of our favourite things nearby: 🍁 Pentland Hills on your doorstep - Step straight from the property into 24,000 acres of beautiful countryside. Enjoy crisp autumn walks, cycling trails, changing colours and sweeping views without having to get in the car. 🏰 Explore Edinburgh with ease – Edinburgh’s historic centre is just 20 minutes by car or around 30 minutes by bus, with the bus stop only 100m away. Explore the Old Town, Edinburgh Castle, museums, restaurants and cosy pubs before escaping back to the countryside. 🌄 Walk up Caerketton Hill – In just 15–20 minutes, you can climb above the chalet for spectacular panoramic views across Edinburgh and towards the Firth of Forth.
